Brooch Headpieces
Create your own unique & stylish headpiece
In this workshop, guests design and make their own headpiece using a sinamay button base and a stylish brooch. Guests can choose from a range of brooches.
A selection of quality materials including feathers, crinoline, silk flowers and veiling are also available in a range of colours. Specific colours can be requested.
Melbourne milliner Catherine Storm will demonstrate a variety of techniques using the materials. All are suitable for beginners with limited or no sewing skills. She will also provide tips, advice and encouragement as guests create their own headpieces.
Finished headpieces are secured to the head with velvet trimmed headbands.
Each guest will take home their own uniquely created headpiece, suitable for race wear or special occasions.
This workshop is approximately two and a half to three hours and can be conducted in a venue of your choice.
