Melbourne Fashion Festival

In association with Catherine Storm Millinery, Time for Bubbles  presents a special hat making workshop that's part of the Melbourne Fashion Festival.

In this workshop, participants design and make their own headpiece using a sinamay button base and a selection of quality materials including feathers, crinoline, silk flowers and veiling.

​​

Melbourne milliner Catherine Storm will demonstrate a range of millinery techniques, provide one-on-one guidance and share tips and encouragement as participants create their own unique headpieces.

​

Each participant leaves with a beautifully crafted piece - suitable for racewear or special occasions - in a Time for Bubbles tote bag.

​​

This workshop is approximately two and a half to three hours.​​

​

Suitable for beginners with little or no sewing experience. All tools and materials are provided.
